Job summary

Ivy Kids - Roswell West in Roswell, GA is seeking a passionate Two's Lead Teacher to guide early learners in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom. You will plan age‑appropriate curriculum for 2–3 year olds, monitor progress, communicate with families, mentor classroom aides, and ensure licensing standards are met.

Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour with benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Experience with toddlers or in an early childhood classroom setting.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 2-3.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to meet Georgia childcare licensing requirements, including background checks.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddlers ages 2-3
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom in accordance with state licensing standards
• Collaborate with fellow educators and administration to support program goals
