Job summary

Des Moines, IA (Downtown) is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to join New Horizon Academy. You will inspire and support children as they learn and grow in our well-equipped classrooms. Wage range for this role is $16.10-$21.35 dependent upon experience AND education.

Must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm. New Horizon Academy participates in the WAGE$ program and offers childcare assistance.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Interest in continuing education in early childhood education or related field.
• Citizenship or work eligibility in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate with children, families, staff.
• Physically able to perform duties with/without accommodations.
