Job summary

New Horizon Academy in West Des Moines, IA is seeking energetic, nurturing teachers to inspire young learners.

Responsibilities include creating engaging classrooms, collaborating with a caring team, and supporting families while meeting state qualifications. The wage range for this role is $16.10-$21.35 per hour, depending on experience and education.

If you are passionate about early childhood education and able to work shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has a passion for working with young children.
• Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
