Job summary

New Horizon Academy Iowa, Inc. in West Des Moines, IA is seeking teachers to join our growing early childhood team.

Flexible shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm support a full day program for young learners. Wage range for this role is $16.10-$21.35 per hour, depending on experience and education, with benefits including health insurance, 401K, paid time off, discounted childcare, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Meets state qualifications for the listed position.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Interest in beginning or continuing education in early childhood.
• Must satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
• Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
