Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Nuclear Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in irradiation testing or nuclear-fuel examination.
• Experience developing test plans and qualification-grade reports.
• Knowledge of reactor interfaces, dosimetry, instrumentation, thermal analysis, and fission-product monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain irradiation, PIE, and safety-testing strategy with objectives, criteria, schedules, and gates.
• Translate design requirements into test conditions and specimen populations.
• Lead interfaces with reactors, labs, shipping organizations, and university partners.
• Coordinate experiment design, approvals, dosimetry, and readiness reviews.
• Maintain specimen identity, pedigree, and nuclear-material controls.
• Deliver regulator-ready qualification reports with uncertainties and reconstructed histories.
