Job summary

SavATree is seeking dedicated Tree Climbers to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform pruning, removals, and cabling, applying your climbing skills and safety training to protect clients' landscapes.

As part of a nationwide leader in tree, shrub, and lawn care, you’ll contribute to high-quality service, collaborate with a safety-minded crew, and grow with opportunities for leadership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL a plus).
• Authorization to work legally in the U.S.
• Passion for working outdoors and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning, removals, and cabling for trees/shrubs.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other tree care gear.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety practices.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts to preserve tree health.
• Assist in removals using ropes and takedown gear.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks.
• Perform aerial rescues when needed for safety.
• Maintain clear communication with team and clients.
• Take ownership of role and promote safety culture.
