SavATree is seeking a Crew Lead Tree Climber in Exeter, RI. The role focuses on high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cabling, with leadership responsibilities for a team.

You will climb safely, operate chainsaws and bucket trucks, and uphold safety practices to protect clients' landscapes. The role requires experience with large trees, knowledge of species, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in pruning for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Strong knowledge of tree and shrub species and their characteristics.
• Comfortable climbing without spurs and adhering to safety standards.
• Experienced with chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using proper techniques, ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws and bucket trucks effectively while maintaining safety standards.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety practices on all tasks.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after each job.
