Urban Tree Management is seeking an experienced Tree Crew Foreman / Lead Climber to join our team, serving high-end residential properties and woodland management projects. As a leader in premium tree care, we pride ourselves on professionalism, safety, and exceptional workmanship.

This role offers the opportunity to lead crews, execute complex removals and rigging, and mentor team members in a safety-first environment with chances for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional tree care experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience as a production climber including complex removals.
• Proven leadership experience or foreman responsibilities preferred.
• Strong planning, rigging, and safety judgment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise tree crews on residential estates and woodland sites, ensuring safe operations.
• Perform advanced climbing, pruning, removals, and technical rigging.
• Direct ground operations with clear, professional communication.
• Plan and organize job sites, conduct tailgate safety meetings, identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with ANSI Z133 and company safety standards.
• Maintain high workmanship and client-facing professionalism.
• Mentor and train crew members to foster safety and high performance.
