Job summary

Matlock Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Traveling Sheet Metal Superintendent to oversee field installations nationwide. The role requires frequent travel statewide and across the United States, with per diem provided for travel assignments.

We seek a hands-on leader who can read blueprints and mechanical plans, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and maintain project schedules in dynamic industrial environments. Per diem and travel are central to this position.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial sheet metal experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience with rectangular duct, spiral ductwork, roof curb equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical plans.
• Proven leadership skills: manage crews, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, both in-state and out-of-state.

• Supervise and coordinate sheet metal installation activities on job sites.
