Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Security Technician to service access control and IP camera platforms across the United States.

You will read engineered drawings, install door hardware, and document job tickets while maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should have 1–5 years in security installation, knowledge of systems like Software House, Lenel, Gallagher, Hanwha, Bosch or Hirsh, and the ability to travel up to two weeks at a stretch; DCJS certification is

UT Government is looking to add a Traveling Security Technician to their team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms.
• Must be able to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
• Must have a basic understanding of door hardware installation.
• Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate all project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• At least one (1)to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability.
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified is required.
• Prior troubleshooting experience.
• Security industry certifications
• Knowledge of: Software House,Gallagher, Lenel, Hanwha, Bosch or Hirsh.
• Ability to travel around the US
• Able to travel 2 weeks at a time

Pay Range

$65,000 - $90,000 USD
