Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Security Technician to support our Government division. You will install, service, test, and inspect access control and IP camera systems at customer sites across the United States, working with a range of security technologies.

This role requires reading engineered drawings, installing door hardware, and maintaining thorough job tickets. Travel typically lasts two weeks per assignment, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• 1–5 years of security installation experience and networking ability.
• Knowledge of security equipment systems (e.g., intrusion, access control).
• Ability to obtain/retain U.S. Government Security Clearance; DCJS certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S.; travel 2 weeks at a time.
• Security industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Must have a basic understanding of door hardware installation.
• Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

UT Government is looking to add a Traveling Security Technician to their team.

The Security Technician is responsible for the installing, service, testing and inspection of a wide range of access control and IP Camera products and systems. As a customer facing employee, the Security Technician must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Security Technician must possess basic troubleshooting skills and will work under the direction and supervision of various departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
• At least one (1)to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability.
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
• Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred DCJS Certified is required.
• Prior troubleshooting experience.
• Security industry certifications
• Knowledge of: Software House,Gallagher, Lenel, Hanwha, Bosch or Hirsh.
• Ability to travel around the US
• Able to travel 2 weeks at a time

Pay Range : $65,000 USD - $90,000 USD
