Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National.
  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
  • Complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
  • Pass pre-employment Drug Screening AND be subject to post-employment random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Register for Selective Service.
  • Be available to work various shifts and overtime, as needed.
  • Meet medical requirements for screening work, including a medical examination and physical abilities assessment, such as lifting, walking, and visual and hearing standards.
  • This position is designated as an Emergency Essential (EE), requiring the employee to remain in duty during emergencies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant security or aviation screener work experience.
  • One year of specialized experience related to security duties, such as screening passengers, baggage, or operating detection equipment.

Volunteer experience through National Service programs is also credited.

Additional Information
