Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Oklahoma City is tendering for the construction supervision of Road and Infrastructure works, seeking a Resident Engineer (Transportation) to oversee on-site activities, coordinate with stakeholders and contractors, and ensure compliance with contract and permitting requirements.

You will lead a team of inspectors and office engineers, report progress, safety, financial projections, and changes in the contract work, while fostering a strong client relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Project Manager or Construction Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization
• Proven experience within large transportation projects in the State of Oklahoma.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship.
• Valid Drivers license and good driving history

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site construction to ensure compliance with the contract and permits.
• Lead a team of inspectors and site staff; report progress, safety, and costs.
• Ensure safe construction practices and maintain high quality of construction.
• Interface daily with the client's team, project stakeholders and contractor.
• Develop trusted relationships with project team, contractor, and client's staff.
