Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. in Rogers, AR seeks a full-time Project Engineer to join our Transportation unit. You will lead project teams, develop engineering solutions, and deliver thorough end products with 5+ years of experience and a Civil Engineering degree.

The role involves collaboration with municipal, county, and state agencies, preparing reports, and developing PS&E packages, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred).
• Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Arkansas DOT and local municipalities (preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office products; MicroStation/OpenRoadsDesigner/Geopak or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Resolve engineering problems and tasks with help from senior staff.
• Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations.
• Prepare and write engineering and other reports.
• Work as part of a team on transportation engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and feasibility studies.
• Develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).
