Job summary

HDR is seeking a Project Manager with CEI expertise to lead construction engineering and inspection activities on major infrastructure projects in South Carolina. You will administer contracts, coordinate QA/QC, and collaborate with government agencies to ensure compliance and quality.

You will also support business development, manage project finances, mentor CEI staff, and work within HDR's employee-owned culture to deliver safe, high-quality infrastructure that meets schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• At least 7 years related experience in CEI/infra projects.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and stakeholders with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all CEI activities for major infrastructure projects.
• Administer construction contracts, review/change orders, RIFIs, and claims.
• Oversee QA/QC programs, inspections, materials testing, and documentation.
• Coordinate with governing agencies for project compliance.
• Support business development, proposals, and client relationships as needed.
• Track project finances and coordinate with the team to meet schedule.
• Mentor CEI staff and perform other duties as needed.
• Pre-employment drug test.
