CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO is seeking a Lead Engineer - Standards to develop transmission construction and design standards for AVANGRID’s lines. You will write specifications for electrical equipment, create material specs, and serve as SME for distribution equipment.

Expect to mentor others and participate in industry associations, with in-office work in Augusta, ME. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited), 7+ years of experience, and a PE license is desirable.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited college/university.
• 7+ years of engineering experience; 10 years preferred.
• Professional Engineer license desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed, complex engineering analyses, designs and calculations.
• Develop alternate methods or design concepts to resolve problems.
• Lead engineering teams to complete tasks and projects.
• Mentor engineers in standards engineering methodology.
• Represent Standards on projects and studies.
