Job summary

WSB is seeking a Transmissions Line Engineer to advance detailed engineering design for high-voltage transmission projects (69-500 kV). You will lead technical analyses, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and prepare comprehensive calculations and reports to support bid packages.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years using PLS-CADD and related tools, and have strong communication skills with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Professional Engineering licensure preferred.
• 4+ years of experience using PLS-CADD and related tools.
• Some experience with FAD Tools and L-Pile.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support design teams in detailed engineering phases.
• Manage engineers, drafters, and designers on small to medium projects and interface with clients.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations for steel, concrete, and wood structures and foundations.
• Complete cable sag and miscellaneous calculations for construction bid packages.
• Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project meetings to outline deliverables and tasks.
• Coordinate with clients on project status and support meetings as needed.
• Maintain project workflow and communication across multi-discipline projects.
• Forecast upcoming project requirements to assist resource planning.
• Provide thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, and calculations.
