This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.

Responsibilities May Include

1. Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range.
2. Mentor and train less experienced design team members.
3. Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client requirements.
4. Prepare reports and studies presenting technical information clearly and meeting client and company formats.
5. Perform independent reviews of work by others, including calculations, drawings, and models in PLS-CADD.
6. Adhere to Sargent & Lundy's System of Processes.

Qualifications

Essential Skills And Experience

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
• 10+ years of transmission design experience.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
• Experience with scope development, conceptual designs, equipment selection, calculations, and specifications.
• Experience working directly with clients on transmission lines from 69kV to 500kV.
• Knowledge of standards like NESC, IEC, ASCE, ACI, IEEE, and ANSI.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.

Valued But Not Required Skills

• PE license
• PMP certification
• Construction experience
• Familiarity with ArcGIS
