A leading utility-focused engineering firm is seeking a Project Engineer to lead transmission line projects in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of overhead transmission line design experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Responsibilities include overseeing the design team, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring engineers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• A PE license is necessary for this role.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in overhead transmission line design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engineer of Record for overhead transmission line projects.
• Provide technical leadership to the design team throughout all project phases.
• Conduct reviews of engineering calculations, models, and design packages.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of overhead transmission line design principles

Strong working knowledge of NESC and RUS

Advanced proficiency with PLS-CADD, SAG10, AutoCAD

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license

7+ years of overhead transmission line design experience
