Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Memphis seeks a Test Lab Engineer to perform thorough testing of power transformers as finished products and in-process testing as needed. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include leading final testing units and liaising with customers. Ideal candidates should be knowledgeable in electrical power tests and have strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in transformer testing in heavy industries or utilities.
• Broad knowledge of Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Department procedures.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer tests on PTD products and systems.
• Design and direct fabrication of testing and test-control apparatus.
• Ensure appropriate application of electrical power tests.
