Job summary

ODW Logistics is seeking a Training Specialist to empower the warehouse team through effective instructional coaching and skill development. You will train new hires, cross-train staff, and help drive efficiency on the floor while aligning with safety and quality goals.

This role emphasizes hands-on coaching of hourly leaders, delivering programs like Training Within Industry, and collaborating with CI Training Supervisor and Operations to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience preferred.
• 3+ years of forklift experience preferred.
• Previous knowledge of process improvement procedures and best practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train new employees and retrain/cross-train current employees on all aspects of their role and processes
• Complete training/evaluation paperwork, audit training methods and job breakdown sheets, and report status of the programs
• Coordinate training, and other various initiatives and projects, with CI Training Supervisor and Operations
• Deliver training programs (e.g. Training Within Industry (TWI)) to employees and observe/provide feedback on progress
• Coach and support hourly leaders ("train the trainer" sessions)
• Understand and strive to fulfill company goals and work to create an environment of efficiency and effectiveness
• Support company safety, quality and productivity initiatives
• All other duties as assigned
