Job summary

WSB in Minnesota seeks a Project Engineer to lead our traffic engineering efforts and contribute to growing client relationships. You will design traffic projects, mentor staff, and ensure quality within budget and schedule.

The role emphasizes innovation, use of emerging technologies, sustainable practices, and collaboration across disciplines. A PE license is required or obtained within six months of hire; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in traffic engineering and related design packages.
• Active PE license is required at hire or within six months.

Responsibilities

• Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services
• Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
• Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients
• Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients
• Design traffic projects and traffic elements of larger project and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
• Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
• Review work for accuracy and coordinate with other functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
