Job summary

GC Support LLC is a Nashville-based traffic control company seeking a Working Traffic Control Supervisor to lead field operations and serve as the on-site face for clients. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in traffic control, road construction, or utility work zone operations.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to set up and manage a work zone independently, including reading and executing traffic control plans.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and lifting 50 lbs.
• Reliable — attention to punctuality and daily attendance is essential.
• Strong communication skills with crew, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and supervise a crew of 2-6 flaggers and traffic control technicians on active job sites.
• Set up and manage work zones per MUTCD and TDOT standards, and operate traffic control devices with the crew.
• Coordinate daily job assignments and dispatch with ownership; complete daily reports and client sign-offs.
• Provide safety briefings, training, and ongoing performance coaching in the field.
• Serve as primary on-site point of contact for clients, contractors, and utility crews.
