Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Traffic Control Supervisor II to lead temporary traffic control in work zones across the state. This role requires operating trucks, ensuring safety, and supervising crews during setup and maintenance of traffic control devices.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of field experience, ATSSA TCS certification, and the ability to travel statewide, including nights and weekends. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• 2+ years of traffic control experience and 4,000 field hours.
• ATSSA TCS intermediate training certification required.
• Background check and motor vehicle records check must be passed.
• Drug test completed and DOT requirements met.
• Must wear safety gear at all times.
• Reading and interpreting road signs and plans.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds; travel statewide.
• Rotating on-call schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials to job sites.
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles on projects.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices.
• Place temporary construction signs, arrow boards, and cones.
• Monitor work zones during shifts and secure equipment.
• Perform equipment maintenance and shop work.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Travel statewide with occasional overnight stays.
