Salt River Project in Tempe, AZ seeks a Senior Lead for Short-Term Trading to provide technical and functional leadership for the team. The role requires broad knowledge of Western energy markets, power trading, scheduling, and related forecasting tools.

Qualifikationen

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience; 11 years with equivalent education may be considered.
Bachelor's degree preferred in mathematics, finance, engineering, or related field.

Aufgaben

Provide technical and functional leadership to the Short-Term Trading team.
Lead readiness for SPP Markets+ go-live and future-state implementations.
Oversee daily market submissions, portfolio risk, and strategy within approved limits.
Direct traders and schedulers; provide backup across core desk functions.
Represent SRP in stakeholder and industry forums and provide on-call support.
