Job summary

Tract Capital is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager, New Product Development to lead the most complex product development programs for data center infrastructure. This role partners with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations to drive products from concept through design, validation, pilot, launch, and scaled production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years manufacturing, operations, or advanced manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years leading manufacturing strategy, process development, or production scale-up for complex hardware.
• Experience with footprint decisions, automation strategies, contract manufacturing, OEM partnerships, and production system design.
• Proven track record improving quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Experience launching products from prototype to volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end manufacturing strategy, including make-vs-buy decisions and regional deployment.
• Evaluate tradeoffs across cost, quality, lead time, logistics, and supply chain risk.
• Develop manufacturing roadmaps for new product introduction, ramp-up, and scaling.
• Establish manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, test systems, and production flows.
• Lead adoption of robotics, automation, machine vision, and data-driven controls.
• Partner with engineering to ensure manufacturability, testability, serviceability, and scale.
• Build production systems to meet throughput, cycle time, and capacity targets.
• Lead pilot builds, validation, readiness, staffing, and transitions to volume production.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor yields, schedules, bottlenecks, and performance.
• Define manufacturing quality strategies, in-process controls, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing, supplier, and field quality issues.
• Drive improvements in first-pass yield, defect reduction, and process capability.
• Develop scalable training programs and operating procedures.
• Lead relationships with contract manufacturers, OEMs, and automation partners.
• Drive partner performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
• Serve as manufacturing leader across Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, PM, Operations, and Customer Delivery.
• Provide executive-level recommendations on manufacturing investments, risks, and scaling.
