Job summary

American Trim, LLC seeks an experienced Tooling Technician responsible for building, repairing and replacing tooling used in production processes. You will ensure dies and tooling meet specifications, perform test samples, and collaborate with internal and external resources to optimize tooling performance.

The role requires strong SPC knowledge, blueprint reading skills and a solid background with dies. Occasional travel and on-call duties are part of the job, with a focus on maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Ability to complete SPC charts and analyze data.
• Attention to detail, advanced math, blueprint reading and precision work required.
• 5–7 years of prior Tool and Die A/B experience at a plant or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or replace tooling for machines to support production operations.
• Maintain dies, form dies, roll forms and related components; solve die-related issues.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites or other American Trim locations as needed.
• Rotate on-call duties and keep a clean, safe work environment.
