Job summary

Clarian Place Child Care and Learning Center is seeking a Lead Teacher for our 1- and 2-year-old classrooms. The role emphasizes providing structure, safety, and nurturing learning experiences while guiding a dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will hold an ECE degree or CDA, bring strong leadership and communication skills, and create age-appropriate lesson plans. Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM with emphasis on reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), CDA Credential, or equivalent qualification required.
• GA PDS account required.
• Previous childcare or classroom management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom structure and organization throughout the day.
• Provide consistency in routines, expectations, and classroom management.
• Effectively manage the classroom while maintaining state ratios.
• Engage and interact with children in a positive and developmentally appropriate manner.
• Follow and implement a timely daily schedule.
• Communicate professionally with parents and team members.
• Work independently while also being a supportive team player.
