Job summary

The Goddard School in Spring House is hiring Lead One & Two Year Old Teachers to support our growing team. With four Toddler Rooms, we are adding lead teachers to train alongside a strong team of educators and caretakers.

Lead and Assistant Teachers should have at least 2 years of Early Child Care experience, be comfortable talking with parents, promote positive classroom management, share ideas with their Co-Teacher, lead lessons, and collaborate with directors and onsite owners.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of Early Child Care experience.
• Be comfortable talking with parents and caregivers.
• Promote positive classroom management techniques.
• Share ideas and experiences with their Co-Teacher.
• Feel comfortable leading lessons and activities.
• Collaborate with directors and onsite owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support instruction for 1- to 2-year-olds.
• Engage children with age-appropriate activities and routines.
• Communicate with parents about child progress and needs.
• Collaborate with co-teachers to plan lessons.
• Partner with directors and owners on classroom goals.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming learning environment.
