Now Hiring: Toddler Teacher – The Owl Academy
Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Are you passionate about guiding curious, energetic toddlers as they explore their world, develop independence, and build new skills? The Owl Academy is seeking a loving and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our family-owned and operated early childhood center.

Nestled on a spacious one-acre campus, our school provides a beautiful natural setting where children are encouraged to spread their wings and fly. Our toddler classroom is designed to support exploration, sensory play, and early social-emotional growth in a safe and supportive environment.We welcome bilingual educators who can help us build strong communication bridges with all families.

Position Overview:

The Toddler Teacher will create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom experience for children ages 12 to 36 months. The ideal candidate will understand the importance of patience, play, and consistency while fostering the growing independence of this special age group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support toddlers’ social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Maintain a daily routine that includes circle time, sensory exploration, outdoor play, music and movement, and transitions
  • Support toilet learning and self-help skills with empathy and encouragement
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment
  • Observe, document, and communicate developmental milestones and progress
  • Collaborate with co-teachers and administration to support classroom goals
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Must meet Colorado State Licensing requirements for a Toddler Teacher
  • Has a current Level 2 or higher in the PDIS system
  • Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A nurturing, energetic, and patient personality
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs and meet the physical demands of a toddler classroom
