Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher for the Early Childcare Center in Coatesville. You will create a safe, engaging classroom that promotes developmental progress in a warm, supportive environment aligned with licensing and YMCA standards.

You will develop weekly lesson plans with the director, maintain records, communicate with guardians, and ensure a clean, supervised setting.

Qualifications

  • Must have 30 credit hours in early childhood or related field.
  • 15 college credits plus one year of care-related experience.
  • Current CDA certificate.
  • Must keep an up-to-date DHS file.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement weekly lesson plans and program goals with the support of the director.
  • Interact with all children to encourage their individual development daily.
  • Maintain necessary program records and attendance.
  • Establish positive communication with guardians.
  • Maintain supervision of all students in a safe, clean environment.
  • Adhere to program expectations and DHS procedures.
