Overview

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth as a lead teacher. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. Responsibilities

• Plan age appropriate lessons and implement developmentally appropriate practices in classroom
• Update Tadpoles Parent Communication App
• Execute planned lessons and follow daily classroom strcuture/schedule
• keep a clean, organized classroom
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead teacher in a child care setting
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA certified)
• Must be able to commit to a 8:00-5:00pm schedule or 8:30am-5:30pm schedule with an hour break
