Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a 2-3 toddler classroom in a Montessori environment designed for exploration and independence. You will guide development through observation, tailored lessons, and respectful guidance to help children build language, self-regulation, and confidence.

You’ll empower toddlers to explore, make choices, and take pride in their accomplishments, laying a foundation for lifelong learning and leadership in a collaborative community.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification through Prepared Montessorian Institute
• Experience with children ages 0–3 in group care or early learning settings
• Alignment with child-led approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar)
• ECE or Child Development credits required
• Bachelor’s degree in a Child-related field

Responsabilités

• Observe each child closely to understand and support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Prepare and maintain an orderly classroom that fosters focus, independence, and exploration
• Encourage toddlers to do things themselves to support independence
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
• Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth
• Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team members to create a respectful, joyful community
