Job summary

Town of Silverthorne seeks a Lead Toddler Instructor: Tumbling & Sports to create and run programs for children up to six years old. You will lead toddler tumbling and sports classes, drop-in play times, preschool visits, and birthday parties. Morning and weekend availability required.

Hiring Range is: $22.93 to $25.99. Full Pay Range is $22.93 to $30.58. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience supervising children.
• One year of experience teaching, planning, and implementing recreation curriculum.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Medical Administration Training certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Colorado Certified Mandatory Reporter within the last 12 months or ability to obtain on hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience supervising children.
• One year of experience teaching, planning, and implementing recreation curriculum to children.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or ability to acquire within 6 months of hire.
• Medical Administration Training certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Colorado Certified Mandatory Reporter within the last 12 months or the ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Intermediate computer skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Degree in Recreation, Education or closely related field.
• Leadership skills or experience in a leadership role.
