Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher (Lead Guide) in Illinois to lead a Montessori classroom for ages 2–3. No Montessori certification is required; candidates will receive fully sponsored PMI training. The role emphasizes observation, individualized lessons, and nurturing independence.

You’ll support language, self-regulation and confidence, collaborating with families and staff to create a calm, exploratory environment that fosters lifelong learning.

Qualifikationen

• Meet Illinois DCFS Teacher Qualified (TQ) requirements with ECE or Child Development credits.
• Experience with young children, especially ages 0–3, in a childcare or preschool setting.
• Willingness to learn Montessori approach and pursue PMI training.

• Lead a toddler classroom (ages 2–3) in a Montessori environment.
• Observe and support each child's physical, emotional and cognitive development.
• Prepare an orderly classroom and foster independence and exploration.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and communicate with parents.
• Lead routines and collaborate with team to create a respectful, joyful community.
