Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori setting designed to support early development. You will use observation and individualized guidance to foster language, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence.

You will empower toddlers to explore, make choices, and take pride in achievements, while collaborating with families and a supportive team for ongoing growth and leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Montessori certification sponsorship is required or in progress.
• Experience caring for toddlers (0–3) in group care or early learning.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches such as Montessori or similar.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly, inviting classroom that fosters independence and exploration.
• Encourage independence by guiding children to do tasks themselves.
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and social manners.
• Build warm relationships with children and families and communicate with parents.
