Guidepost Montessori is seeking a Lead Toddler Guide to lead a mixed-age toddler classroom in a Montessori environment thoughtfully designed to support children during a formative stage of development.

You will observe, guide, and nurture language, coordination, self-regulation, and confidence, helping each child grow independence and joy in learning, with leadership that empowers families and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing fully sponsored Montessori certification via Prepared Montessorian Institute.
• Experience with children aged 0–3 in group care or early learning settings.
• Alignment with child-led educational approaches (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree (any field).

Responsabilités

• Observe each child closely to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom that fosters focus, independence, and exploration.
• Encourage toddlers to 'do it themselves' to build independence.
• Provide lessons in practical life skills, language development, and grace and courtesy.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with parents to support each child’s growth.
• Lead classroom routines and collaborate with team members to create a respectful, joyful community.
