Guidepost Montessori in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is hiring a Lead Toddler Guide to support a class of two-year-olds in a nurturing Montessori environment. You will guide children through independent activities, model precise language, and help them grow confidence and joy in learning.

Qualifications

• Pursue fully-sponsored Montessori training or hold a Montessori diploma.
• Experience working with children ages 0–3 in daycare/nursery settings.
• Familiar with child-led Montessori philosophies and curriculum for 0–3.
• Qualified Group Teacher with ongoing or completed Early Childhood Education degree.
• High School diploma in English with degree evaluation and translation.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs.
• Prepare an orderly environment that fosters trust, exploration, learning, and independence.
• Cultivate independence by helping children do things themselves.
