Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Threat Assessment Engineer to join the Environmental Threat Assessment team. You will act as a lead and SME, mentoring junior analysts and shaping how we identify and mitigate threats across Salesforce's global infrastructure.

You will analyze logs, engage executives, and drive the design of agentic tooling, collaborating with Cyber Security operations, Threat Intelligence, and engineering teams to strengthen detections and response across products and platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of threat modeling and security architecture experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills to correlate data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, and OWASP Top 10.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security and cloud architecture fundamentals for SaaS/PaaS.
• Experience analyzing logs from security tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A related technical degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling for infrastructure and application threats, including security architecture and new product features.
• Use threat intelligence, incident response data, and internal tooling to map and prioritize top threats.
• Analyze logs from endpoints, network, and other tools to find coverage gaps or bypasses.
• Translate assessments into actionable recommendations for Product & Enterprise Security.
• Drive security uplift with Product teams during design and solutioning.
• Design and orchestrate new agentic tooling to enhance analysis capabilities.
