Job summary

Tyson Foods, Center Processing Plant in Center, Texas, is hiring for a Lead on 2nd shift in the thigh debone line. The role pays $19.25 per hour base plus a $1.00 shift differential for the 2nd shift.

You will support the Supervisor by relaying instructions, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining a safe, HACCP-compliant work area. Responsibilities include monitoring shoulder cuts and debone equipment, assisting with staffing, relieving line personnel, and ensuring housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Six months of Lead experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of the debone department.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure USDA, production and HACCP requirements are met.
• Assist with staffing decisions based on product flow and attendance.
• Relieve line personnel and cover for absenteeism as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and clean work areas.
• Fill in for Supervisor in their absence.
