Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced thermal engineer to lead the thermal design and validation of low-voltage electrical hardware. This mission-critical role ensures the performance of our electronic control units in demanding environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with extensive experience in electronic cooling solutions and advanced proficiency in thermal analysis tools. You will conceptualize designs, perform simulations, and drive effective thermal strategies for our vehicle hardware.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in providing electronic cooling solutions.
• Expert proficiency in CFD and thermal analysis tools.
• Experience in chip and IC package-level thermal modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead thermal strategy for vehicle electrical hardware.
• Develop electronic cooling and packaging solutions.
• Establish simulation-to-test correlation methodologies.
