Mercy Memorial Health Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver radiation therapy per oncologist prescriptions, prepare charts, perform e- calculations, and maintain precise treatment records. The role serves patients from adolescents to geriatrics in a busy clinic.

Located at Mercy Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO, the position requires ARRT certification, 3 years of experience, and proficiency with CT simulation, dosimetry processes, and IMRT systems. Full-time days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT approved Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT registration as Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a radiation therapist.
• ARRT certification and CPR certification.
• Experience with record-and-verify systems, CT simulation, e- imaging, cone-beam CT, and IMRT.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Good computer skills and ability to work in a small clinic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Prepare and verify charts before treatment start.
• Perform basic e- calculations and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Work with CT simulation and IMRT workflows.

This position provides care to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Will perform all work with accord to the mission, vision, and values of Mercy Memorial Health Center.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of ARRT approved Radiation Therapy program
• Licensure: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) for Radiological Technologist.
• Experience: 3 years experience working as a radiation therapist.
• Certifications: ARRT certified; CPR certified
• Other: worked with record and verify systems, ct simulation, basic calculations, e- imaging, cone-beam CT, and IMRT.Familiar with the dosimetry process and various treatment planning systems.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Preferred Other: Good computer skills. Ability to work in a small clinic.
