Job summary
Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston, TX is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead the test engineering organization, overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing test processes for existing and new products.
The role requires defining and guiding test readiness, ensuring test systems and equipment meet customer, quality, and operational requirements, and driving staff development and training to support efficient production and successful
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in leadership roles
- Experience leading test engineering teams and processes
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the test team
- Plan and coordinate test processes for existing and new products
- Ensure test environment and equipment meet customer and quality requirements
- Develop and evaluate engineering talent and leadership within the team
- Define sub-processes and competency needs for operations
- Provide training for staff on new product introductions and process changes
- Design and optimize test engineering processes
