Job summary

Texas Instruments in Wisconsin is seeking Test Engineers to work on multiphase buck controllers and high-density power stages. You will collaborate with design, test, systems and application engineers to ensure our power solutions meet customer and market requirements while optimizing costs.

Responsibilities include test planning, silicon debugging on ATE, yield analysis, and working with FW to implement firmware fixes. This role demands hands-on testing and close collaboration with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the design team to understand design specifications and system challenges.
  • Generate test plans, create tests and CHAR programs, and design ATE interfaces.
  • Debug silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench data.
  • Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis tasks.
  • Perform statistics on yield fallout; debug and fix yield issues, optimize test time.
  • Coordinate with production to release products to volume production.
  • Define and implement test strategy for multiphase controllers and power stages.
  • Silicon qualification and development of the qual program.
  • Comprehensive device debugging, validation and failure analysis.
  • Drive robust, cost-effective test solutions and ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with FW team to support customer needs and implement firmware fixes.
  • Engage with customers with application engineers to explain devices and tweaks.
