Job summary

Seneca Federal Solutions seeks a Telecommunications / Electrical Technician to support a two-year government project with potential for long-term opportunities. Travel up to 90% and on-site work are expected as contracts dictate.

This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and supporting various telecom systems and related equipment in diverse environments. Candidates must be eligible for a government clearance and able to pass NF or SF-86 background investigations.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a government clearance and able to pass NCIC/SF-86 background investigations.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% and work on-site as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely climb ladders.
• Willingness to learn bending EMT and GRC conduit, install telecommunication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Determine routing and placement of telecom cabling and fiber-optic cable.
• Install electrical conduit and electrical wiring as required.
• Perform physical installation of telecom equipment and racks.
• Move, relocate, and reinstall equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with building and electrical codes.
• Document installations and maintenance in logs.
• Assist in planning system and facility-layout changes.
• Safely operate scissor lifts and boom lifts.
