Job summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist lead to report to the Section Leader of MRI/CT. The role uses computed tomography to produce images that aid in diagnosing disease and injury and serves as a department lead.

The incumbent will perform some duties of the Section Leader in his/her absence and must hold ARRT(R)(CT) registration, MA Radiologic Technologist licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Three or more years experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Current ARRT(R)(CT) registration.
• Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• BLS healthcare provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead CT department and assist MRI/CT Section Leader.
• Produce diagnostic CT images to aid in diagnosis.
• In the Section Leader's absence, perform delegated duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.

Experience

• Three or more years experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification

• Current registration as ARRT(R)(CT) required.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills

• Must have IV skills and proficiency.
• Must be computer proficient, including PACS and RIS.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to maintain confidential information required.
