Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services, Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is looking for a Lead Technician to oversee daily shop operations and perform hands-on repairs on diesel and refrigeration systems.

You’ll manage shift schedules, supervise technicians, and ensure safety and quality on every job. Eligible candidates receive a $2/hour night-shift differential, ASE certification pay, PTO from day one, health/dental/vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and employer contributions to an HSA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience as a technician or supervisor in fleet or refrigeration services.
• Must possess a toolbox and required tools.
• Strong electrical and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift schedules and workload distribution.
• Supervise technicians and ensure quality standards.
• Communicate with customers and team members across shifts.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration units using OEM software.
• Perform PM services, DOT inspections, brake repairs, and general truck/trailer maintenance.
• Handle road service calls and APU repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
