Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit. The role involves installing high-security field devices, wiring, headend equipment, and ensuring compliance with project specs.

You will document work, prioritize safety, and collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines. Candidates should have 5–10 years in installation/service of security and low-voltage systems, IP domain know-how, and the ability to travel across the Southeast (up to 80%).

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• High integrity, reliability and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments.
• Must possess or be able to obtain necessary background clearances for secure facilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all tasks.
• Perform installation of high-security field devices and ensure proper setup, calibration, and functionality.
• Complete field wiring, terminations, and testing in accordance with standards and project specs.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot headend equipment for seamless integration with field components.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and issues encountered.
• Adhere to safety policies and customer site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and teammates to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
