Eaton's PCD Power Components Division is currently seeking a Lead Technician - Engineering to join the team. This role is based at the Horseheads, NY manufacturing site.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year.

The primary purpose of this position is to conduct electrical testing in the Horseheads, NY High power lab, to meet the demands of Eaton's Vacuum Interrupters (VI) engineering departments to achieve product development, sustaining, and innovation goals. Additional requirements will be to help maintain lab test equipment, prepare and process test reports for approval, contribute to lab workload, 5S activities, and support safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with critical thinking to ensure reliable testing procedures. You are highly skilled in the use of basic, advanced, and specialized machinist tools and possess a solid understanding of shop equipment maintenance and testing procedures. You communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement. Proficiency with word-processing software and strong organizational skills enable you to accurately document activities and support operational excellence.
