Security 101 – San Francisco is recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician with experience in installing, programming, and servicing commercial electronic security devices, including CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and overall security systems.

We offer a 4-day/10-hour work week. The hourly wage ranges from $43.00 to $53.00, non-exempt, based on skills, product knowledge, and experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and more. We also provide a cell phone, laptop, and work vehicle.

Skills/Abilities:

• 7 to 10 years of electrical and electronic security equipment installation and repair experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with installation, servicing, and programming of access control systems such as Software House, Lenel, Brivo, Openpath, and Avigilon (preferred).
• Experience in PTZ and IP camera installation, programming, and addressing.
• Knowledge of internet and networking is essential.
• Ability to work independently and resolve customer issues.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities:

The candidate should demonstrate installation and servicing skills, including programming, configuring, testing, and commissioning systems, and performing service maintenance on:

• Access control systems (including corporate and enterprise levels)
• Video management systems
• Cloud IP video and access control
• Visitor management systems
• Security communication systems
• Optical turnstiles
• NVRs and DVRs

Education:

• High School diploma or GED (minimum)
• Electronics training from a technical school or military electronics/communications training (preferred)
